Integration and application of microelectronics and STEAM education

Future Learning Theatre (Curated by EdCity)

Overview

Over the past two years, Aberdeen Technical School has actively advanced microelectronics education, systematically guiding students from circuit board design and soldering to semiconductor chip design to master core cutting-edge technological competencies. While initial concerns existed regarding curriculum difficulty, integrating microelectronics into daily subjects like Chemistry, Physics, and Information Technology has successfully ignited strong student interest. Today, numerous students not only voluntarily engage in independent R&D projects demonstrating exceptional engineering capabilities but have also gained clear career direction through deep exposure to industrial-grade technologies.

This seminar will fully demonstrate innovative integration models of industrial technology with STEAM education while analyzing real-world applications of industry-academia-research collaboration. The agenda covers microelectronics industry prospects and career development pathways, featuring specially arranged live demonstrations of students' original R&D projects. Participants will witness firsthand the solid mastery of the new generation in microelectronics technology.
