Overview
An evidence-based Caregiver skills training developed by World Health Organization (WHO) has been localised and researched, and the programme continues to be implemented. The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Ho Yuk Ching Educational and Psychology Service Centre dedicated to promoting the WHOCST online learning platform for professionals. Speakers will share some core skills that foster the children’s engagement and spontaneous communication to facilitate educators’ daily application at pre-school settings. WHO Caregiver Skills Training Programme is currently under field testing in more than 30 regions around the world, aims to support caregivers to convert daily activities into shared routines, boost regular joint engagement experiences for building children’s social communicative skills.
