Sharing on Promoting National Security Education in Schools

Overview

The team from this school has designed a national security education curriculum based on four key dimensions: knowledge, emotion, will, and action. Since 2019, this school has developed an in-house Chinese history and culture program (CHARM), which uses Chinese cultural elements as an entry point to help students understand the nation, and cultivate appreciation and a sense of identity towards the country. Furthermore, this school has carefully selected appropriate topics in different subjects to integrate national security education elements, adopting a ‘multi-pronged, organically connected, and naturally integrated’ approach to embed national security education into daily teaching and learning.
