Values education is a crucial cornerstone for students to establish correct life values. Shanghai Alumni Primary School references OECD's ‘Learning Compass 2030’ framework, emphasising the integration of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values to nurture the next generation's ability to face the future. In the 2023/24 academic year, this school implemented a new school-based values education curriculum, adopting diverse implementation modes including subject learning, whole-school atmosphere, life-wide learning, practice and service, and parent education, to cultivate students' positive values and attitudes, enhance their resilience, and empower them with the ability and confidence to face future changes and challenges. This school's values education curriculum operates on a three-year cycle, aligning with the school's mission to nurture twelve priority values and attitudes in students.
